Video messaging tool Proclaim now with enhanced record messaging and live meeting capabilities

Proclaim combines the simplicity of the social networking tools with the functionality of the typical web conferencing tools

St. Paul, Minnesota - March 27, 2008 - Netbriefings, a webcasting services provider that specializes in helping businesses communicate with video, released a new version of Proclaim, its rich media webcast communication tool, with enhanced record messaging and live meeting capabilities.

“Because research has shown us that shorter more engaging video messages are very effective for corporate communications, we added new features to help you get your messages out,” said Gary Anderson, president and CEO of Netbriefings. With this in mind, the company reorganized the product’s main landing page. The Archive feature changed to Record Message and moved to the first function in the navigation bar.

Added features to the Record Message section include an enhancement to the Manage Messages interface. Users can now edit the message description even after the message has been recorded. For improved security, Proclaim now allows the user to easily add and change a password to their recorded messages.

An enhancement to the Hold Live Meeting function includes the addition of a pre-conference area where the host and presenters can meet to discuss logistics and prepare for the meeting while their guests are arriving. A new presenter mode allows multiple presenters to see each other and talk amongst themselves while on video without the audience hearing. It also allows presenters access to push their own slides, read participant messages, and turn on or off their own video. The meeting host can now easily toggle between live broadcasting and private presenter modes.

A Manage Meetings function was added to give users one hub to manage their live meetings. From this area, users can schedule a future meeting, invite presenters and participants, and update their meeting details.

Proclaim is designed to improve the value and ease of communicating with video, with no software to download and install. The Web-based application is designed for use in sales, marketing, events, training, product launches and more.
