Getting Started Right ... The Nuts and Bolts of Webcasting

Streaming webcast to learn the technical issues surrounding webcasting and how it can act as a revenue stream for companies

St. Paul, Minnesota - August 12, 2005 - Netbriefings, a full-service webcast technology provider that specializes in secure and large-audience Internet broadcasts, announces a streaming video webcast featuring Brian Court, president of Beacon Hill Productions, and Charles Peters, corporate development director at Netbriefings, presenting the topic: "Getting Started Right ... The Nuts and Bolts of Webcasting."

This webcast explores the technical details and issues surrounding putting on a webcast. Attendees will learn what equipment is needed to do a webcast, what delivery mechanisms Netbriefings offer for webcasting, when to use streaming servers, details about broadcast security and how the eConference Enterprise solution works.

By working with Netbriefings, production companies will have the technical tools and support that enable them to compete for the big projects with the large accounts.

Participants can see and hear these live demonstrations right on their desktop. The only software needed is a standard Web browser.

The webcast is a 60 minute event on Friday, August 12, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific, 1:00 p.m. Eastern. The event is a streaming video broadcast with web access through a URL to view the presentation. At the conclusion of the webcast, listeners will be able to ask questions. Registration for the event is free.

Experience with Webcasting Large Company Events
Netbriefings has worked with companies such as AOL/Time Warner, Navigation Technologies, Ecolab, Lawson Software, Graco, and the United States Trade Representatives to deliver very large streaming video/audio webcast events.

Netbriefings is technically astute in all aspects of webcasting details. For some of these very large company events, the company utilized DRM servers for employee authorization and increased security. It also deployed streaming servers on the company backbone to reduce the streaming traffic coming through the corporate firewall.

Partnership Benefits
Netbriefings already partners with several production companies to extend its streaming webcasting services to their live shoots. The procedures are in place and they work! By teaming up with Netbriefings, it will provide partner companies with unmatched streaming media capability for large meeting broadcasts and advanced technical expertise for all aspects of webcasting. Netbriefings will provide a unique set of complimentary skills and services for customers that require scalable, cost-effective and application-appropriate webcast solutions.
