Netbriefings Teams with Profits Journal to Deliver a new Show 'STARTING LINE' Broadcast via the Internet
St. Paul, Minnesota - October 18, 2000 - Netbriefings, a full-service webcast technology provider that specializes in secure and large-audience Internet broadcasts, and Profits Journal, a leading financial news service company, announced that the companies have signed agreements to enable them to deliver a new show 'STARTING LINE' to focus on the regional new economy market their services.
Although the show will air initially once a week, the plan is to grow it into a daily series. The show can be viewed from the Profits Journal web site at www.profitsjournal.com.
Starting Line newscast will provide viewers with reports on local emerging companies - businesses that are growing quickly and may make for good investments, customers, employers or partners. The show and the accompanying Web site report on local publicly traded companies that are likely to see major stock price increases or decreases; private companies looking for and getting millions of dollars in hidden angel and venture capital investments; upcoming public stock offerings; mergers or acquisitions and other things viewers can use to better their finances and careers.

Mr. Kurschner went on to say, "we are excited about having Netbriefings as a partner to launch the show. We are convinced that they are the right partner to be working with".
Tom Saylor, President/COO of Netbriefings, stated, "This is a wonderful opportunity to spotlight both Profits Journal and our capabilities. Not only is it a revenue stream for us, but it helps the investment community see the strength of streaming media as a broadcast media."
