Netbriefings Teams with Digital Island to Provide Services for Large Interactive Events

St. Paul, Minnesota - August 4, 2000 - Netbriefings, a full-service webcast technology provider that specializes in secure and large-audience Internet broadcasts, announced that it has signed an agreement with Digital Island, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISLD), a leading Global e-Business Delivery Network, to allow the companies to jointly market their services. Netbriefings, who provides Web conferencing services in the large meetings and conventions market, will use Digital Island's FootprintT Live and On-Demand streaming services to provide Netbriefings' interactive, multi-media streaming, Web conferencing services to customers needing to communicate with large, geographically dispersed groups. .

As a member of Digital Island's Global Partner Program, Netbriefings is providing Digital Island's hosting, networking and content delivery services to companies that need fast, guaranteed and reliable e-Business services. The meetings and conventions market, the segment which Netbriefings intends to serve, represents $25 billion of the $400 billion travel and tourism market, according to Crain Communications' Crain's New York Business.
