Netbriefings signs Webcast Agreement with Minnesota High Tech Association
St. Paul, Minnesota - January 14, 2000 - Netbriefings, a full-service webcast technology provider that specializes in secure and large-audience Internet broadcasts, announced a partnership agreement with the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA). Under the agreement, Netbriefings will provide Internet Webcasts and streaming media archives for the MHTA's significant events during the year 2000. Webcasts will be conducted from the MHTA's Eagan, MN headquarters, and from various facilities around the Minneapolis-St.Paul metropolitan area. While the MHTA will benefit from more convenient and broader communication to and within its membership, Netbriefings will gain exposure to the MHTA membership, which represents a key segment of Netbriefings' market.
Tom Saylor, president of Netbriefings, stated, "This is an exciting opportunity that helps us increase awareness of Netbriefings' capabilities throughout the region. There is no better association for which to provide our type of services in the Upper Midwest."
Addressing the benefits of the partnership, Mr. Saylor said, "The MHTA will be able to present to its members the annual address of president R. Jane Brown; provide association members live, Internet Webcasts of the Upgrade Minnesota Campaign; and Webcast several other live `hot topic' group discussions during the year. These events will also allow us to demonstrate our capabilities to one of our targeted markets, high technology companies."
R.Jane Brown, president of the MHTA, said, "Because of what we do, we feel that the partnership will be mutually beneficial to both MHTA and Netbriefings. In an effort to get important industry news out to the business, education, government, and general communities, MHTA is offering Netbriefings the opportunity to connect with over 3,000 high tech professionals throughout the state."
The first two Webcasts are scheduled for January 18, and February 21, and are open to all MHTA members. Through e-mail, Netbriefings will provide all registrants the URL and passwords necessary to participate. Interested MHTA members can register by going to www.netbriefings.com/MHTA/event.html.
